Prayer is a central part of our faith and work at Byron United. We have a strong Prayer Team, including a Prayer Chain for emergancy needs. If you have a prayer request, please phone or e-mail the church office: 519-471-1250 or church@byronunited.ca.

You may also come for prayer each Sunday morning from 9:30 to 10:00 (when worship begins) or after worship, and several members of our Prayer Team will gladly pray for you or your loved ones.

Jesus taught his disciples to pray with very simple, ordinary words:
"Our Father in heaven. Holy is your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today the bread we need for today. And forgive us our sins as we forgive people who sin against us. And don't let us be tempted, but save us from evil. For yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen!"

When you are toubled, remember Jesus says to us...
"Come to Me, all of you who labour and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest."

    When you are afraid...
"Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you. I will uphold you with My strong right hand of righteousness."

    When you need forgiveness...
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
